Antiseptics and intertimbering
|
|
For protection of the would-be house from precipitation and micro-organisms, the company JV Lesofabrika Ecotech Ltd. treats the beam with special REMMERS AIDOL GN protecting chemicals (antiseptics) during one of the part production stages, using the complete bath dipping method. The chemical treatment method is the most effective one, as the protecting agent permeates the interior wood structure. The colorless and odorless agent is fast-drying, and provides protection from fungi and insects.
The antiseptic-permeated beams can be coated by any paints upon assembling the house.
After treating the wood with antiseptic, the butt-ends are imbibed with special REMMERS AIDOL SW-910 solution which makes the beam stable against deformations, as it prevents absorption of moisture by the butt-ends and V-shaped joints of the wooden structures of the house outer shell, forming an elastic colorless water-repellent protecting film.
All the permeating agents supplied by the German company REMMERS have relevant EU Certificates.
CUTTER HEAT INSULATION MATERIAL
Traditionally bryophytes, flax tow and woolen felt used to be applied as cutter heat insulation material. But nowadays there is more modern one - the band insulation that is made from the natural fibres of jute and flax.
JV Lesofabrika Ecotech Ltd. uses the HELMAX jute insulation. It’s a modern heat-insulating material that is used in timber and beam constructions and provides more even warm then hards, flax-fibre, slag wool or bryophytes.
Jute contains almost the same amount of lignin* as wood. Wet rot and water resistance of wood depends on it.
*Lignin is a natural polymerized product that binds filament cellulose.
This insulation doesn’t dust, is airtight and ahygroscopic.
INSULATION LAYERING TECHNOLOGY
Number of insulation layers and their width depends on hardware quality. It’s recommended to use 5mm width insulation in laminated wood constructions. Insulation stripes are fixed with the help of a clincher.
